Deftones Share Robert Smith Remix Of ‘Teenager’

The Cure frontman's take on the track is lifted from a forthcoming remix album of Deftones' 'White Pony'

The Cure’s Robert Smith has remixed Deftones’ 2000 track ‘Teenager’.

Smith’s remix is part of the forthcoming Black Stallion, a double-album filled with remixes of Deftones’ album White Pony which is being released to mark the classic album’s 20th anniversary. Squarepusher, DJ Shadow, Blanck Mass, Clams Casino and Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda are among the other artists who’ve contributed remixes to the release. You can listen to Robert Smith’s remix above.

Black Stallion follows on from the release of the band’s latest album, Ohms, earlier this year.

Reprise will release Black Stallion on December 11, 2020.
