Nicolás Jaar & More Contribute To Beirut Fundraising Release

The compilation is curated by Arabic-language music magazine Ma3azef together with mastering engineer Heba Kadry

Nicolás Jaar, Fatima Al Qadiri, ZULI and more have contributed new and previously unreleased material to a compilation raising money for the relief effort following last month’s Beirut explosions.

Nisf Madeena, which is available on Bandcamp, is curated by Arabic-language music magazine Ma3azef and mastering engineer Heba Kadry. It also features tracks from Slikback, Deena Abdelwahed, STILL, Thoom, DJ Plead, and more. All proceeds are going towards the Fundraising Campaign For The Arts And Culture Community In Beirut (organised by AFAC), the Beirut Musicians’ Fund (organised by Tunefork Studios), and Beit el Baraka.

Nisf Madeena is out now.
