LISTEN: New Guttersnipe Album

Guttersnipe unveil their debut album, streaming in full ahead of its release later this week

This Friday (October 26), Guttersnipe will release their debut LP My Mother The Vent, as a joint collaboration between Upset The Rhythm and Ouse Records. Ahead of its release, streaming exclusively above is the album in full.

The album follows on from last year’s self-released Mimicry Ring cassette. Its six tracks offer the fullest presentation yet of the duo’s sound, coming off like a distillation of noise music from Wolf Eyes and AIDS Wolf, black metal and the avant-garde tendencies of The Residents.

Guttersnipe have long been favourites of tQ having impressed us with their live shows on numerous occasions, and have emerged as a vital voice in the Leeds underground scene in recent years. You can read our recent interview with them, covering their history, stage presence and more, here.

My Mother The Vent is out on October 26 and can be pre-ordered here.
