LISTEN: Simo Cell On Livity Sound

French producer Simo Cell returns to Livity Sound for new 12" closing out a bumper year for the label

It’s fair to say that Livity Sound, the label founded and run by Bristol’s Peverelist, has had a good year, taking in releases from producers such as Kowton, Mosca, Hodge, Forest Drive West and the mysterious I-iii, as well as an album from the label head himself.

Squeezing in just one more record before the year is out, French producer Simo Cell steps up to make his second appearance on the label’s main arm next month with the ‘Pour Le Club!’ EP. Premiering in full above is a gnarly peak-time stepper from the record called ‘Stop The Killing’, built around thwacking drums and demonic shrieks.

It’s one of four tracks on the EP which is set for release on December 1. You can check out clips for all four tracks here.
