LISTEN: ‘Kingdom Come’ Track

Check out a new track from Gazelle Twin

Gazelle Twin – The Suburbs Dream Of Violence (Kingdom Come) from Gazelle Twin on Vimeo.

Gazelle Twin is currently working on a new project called ‘Kingdom Come’ which is accompanied by a film made by Chris Turner and Natasha Tung. Above you can check out one of the tracks featured in the project in the form of ‘The Suburbs Dream Of Violence’ as well as accompanying visuals from Turner and Tung.

The piece, evoking works by J.G. Ballard, is set on treadmills against visuals from the filmmakers. Gazelle Twin will not perform herself when the project is presented live, but the show will feature friend of tQ Natalie Sharp, aka Lone Taxidermist, and Stuart Warwick on vocals as well as Jez Bernholz performing. It combines theatre, live music and a running story among images of empty shopping centres and car parks, as put together by Chris Turner and Natasha Tung.

The show has been developed by Gazelle Twin alongside a wide range of collaborators and will be presented at Sónar by Day in Barcelona later this month. You can find out more details here .
