John Doran’s English Trip Continues

tQ's John Doran continues An English Trip in support of his book with events in Cambridge and Ipswich

John Doran’s tour alongside Årabrot’s Kjetil Nernes in support of his Jolly Lad book continues tonight in Cambridge with a night co-hosted by English Heretic. This evening’s festivities will be themed on the idea of ‘A Brutal Road Trip’ and will, as ever, feature readings from the book. English Heretic will be presenting ‘Video Anxieties’, an audiovisual performance centred on the locations from The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue. Tonight’s event is taking place at Cambridge’s Unitarian Church Hall. You can find all the details, including ticket links, here. Doors open at 7.30pm.

Tomorrow night, the tour continues along to Ipswich, taking place at the CSV Media Clubhouse. Doors open there at 7pm and will once again feature John reading from Jolly Lad with musical accompaniment from Nernes. To get yourself there, head here for all the information and ticket links you need. Cambridge and Ipswich, don’t miss your chance to catch An English Trip as it rolls through your fine areas.
