Le Guess Who? Completes Line-Up

Final set of acts are announced for the Utrecht festival including new Suuns project and more names for 24-Hour Drone Fest

Utrecht’s Le Guess Who? Festival has completed its line-up with the announcement of a final wave of acts including Brandt Brauer Frick, Cut Hands and Lucrecia Dalt. Also added to the bill is the collaborative project between Suuns and longtime friend Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, which came about from seven days of studio sessions in Montreal in November 2012 in which they worked together on rough sketches of song ideas using analogue synths and Arabic influences. This show, billed as Suuns & Jerusalem In My Heart, marks the project’s first appearance outside Montreal. Le Guess Who? will also host the world premiere of 24-Hour Drone Fest, which has been initiated together with New York’s Basilica Hudson series. New names for the project, which is said to "cover the entire spectrum of drone during 24 non-stop hours of live performances and installations", include Emptyset, Julianna Barwick, Carla Bozulich and John Eichenseer, and many more. They join the previously announced William Basinski, Stephen O’Malley, Tim Hecker and Raime.

The festival, which takes place from November 20-23, aims to combine "a top-notch collection of today’s burgeoning talent with legendary, one-of-a-kind acts" and will this year see headline sets from Swans, Autechre, Einstürzende Neubaten, Wire, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy and more.
