Idlewild Return, Starting With Tour

Band back with new line-up and 13-date acoustic tour ahead of announcement in November

Idlewild have announced their return. The band have been on a break for five years, with their last album being 2009’s Post Electic Blues. They’re now back with a new line-up, Luciano Rossi and Andrew Mitchell taking up keyboard and bass duties respectively, and are due to be making an announcement on Steve Lamacq’s 6 Music show on November 3.

This gets preceded by a 13-date acoustic tour, running across their native Scotland before concluding with Whitby’s Musicport festival.
