Dead Army Fiction Halloween Special Tonight!

Our friends at Red, er, I mean Dead Army Fiction are serving up some Halloween themed spoken word tonight at the Gallery Cafe in Bethnal Green from 7pm onwards.

It’s free to get in but there’s a collection for the Sophie Lancaster charity. Boss woman Alison says: "We have a spellbinding headline act for the evening. Dead Army Fiction is proud to present David Charnick.

A lifelong resident of Bethnal Green, David is a London tour guide and author of ‘Death and the City’, a collection of twelve stories exploring London’s history. He is currently compiling a second collection of stories and is also working on a novel. He has also produced various academic papers on London writing, particularly that of Peter Ackroyd."

And Quietus Editor John Doran is on at about 9.30pm reading a horrible short story that he wrote for the sleeve of the new Arabrot Murder As Art EP.
