WIN: Tickets For Sidi Touré In London

We've got a pair of tickets to give away to Touré's set at The Lexington this Friday

The excellent Malian singer-songwriter Sidi Touré is currently on a European tour in support of Alafia, the new album – his third for Thrill Jockey – that he released last month. For the album, Touré combined the Songhaï folk music of Mali with influences from further afield, addressing the violent unrest that hit the county’s northern regions, including his native Gao, in the last year in the process. Have a listen to the record below:

He’s playing WOMEX in Cardiff on Thursday, October 24, The Lexington in London on October 25 and Bouffes du Nord in Paris on November 22, and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to the London date.
