Today, Eugene S. Robinson, Oxbow frontman and occasional Quietus scribe, and Anthony Saggers, aka Oxfordshire sound artist Stray Ghost, release their first album as Stranger By Starlight.
Robinson dubs Chalk White Nights, out on Bad Paintings, a “warm bath of sorrow”, which takes up his interest in film noir and embeds his words in Saggers’ jazz-shaded ambient soundscapes – have a listen to the album below, and head to Bad Paintings’ website to get hold of it:
