WATCH: New Grumbling Fur

Watch the video for The Ballad Of Roy Batty from forthcoming LP Glynnaestra

We’re huge fans of Grumbling Fur here at tQHQ – not buying their album Glynnaestra when Thrill Jockey release it on July 23 would be a grave error of judgement – so are delighted to premiere their new video for album cut ‘The Ballad Of Roy Batty’ – have a watch above.

It’s another ace track, with ringing, mystical percussion and guitar drone overlaid by Daniel O’Sullivan and Alexander Tucker’s vocal harmonies intoning a central lyrical theme half-inched from Rutger Hauer’s infamous speech at the end of Blade Runner: "I’ve seen things you people would not believe…" The video is a masterwork for anyone who enjoys fine knitwear, forests and telekinesis. Which, really, should be just about everyone.

Head over to Thrill Jockey to pre-order the album here.
