A belated happy 75th birthday to ALAN VEGA, half of one of the wildest and most righteous rock & roll groups of all time, the mighty SUICIDE. Mr Vega reached the three quarter century mark this Sunday past… and to commemorate this, we’ve been sent a birthday missive this old piece, where Vega and Martin Rev head to the Aqueduct Raceway to "blow the newfound royalties from their debut album for Red Star Records…" Praise be to Suicide and praise be to Alan Vega. We are eagerly anticipating a follow-up to that killer techno brutalist LP Station, released in 2007. Not heard it you say? Why, see below:
