Cosey Fanni Tutti and Factory Floor At The ICA

Factory Floor, Fixmer/McCarthy and Andrew Weatherall Perform Live

The ICA have commissioned a special one day event by musician and artist Cosey Fanni Tutti and writer Maria Fusco called Cosey Complex on March 27th that features well known artists talks by day and live performances by Factory Floor, Fixmer/McCarthy and Andrew Weatherall by night.

Cosey is best known as a member of Throbbing Gristle and art group COUM Transmissions as well as for her solo activities famously including exhibiting works of appropriated pornographic images of herself used at an exhibition at the ICA in 1976.

Cosey uses her assumed name which allows her to engage in various artistic practices and her latest endeavour is the Cosey Complex event begins with an afternoon session with a range of artists and writers including Cosey, Martin Bax, Gerard Byrne, Daniella Cascella and others who have formulated contributions that are inspired by ‘Cosey as Methodology’ that runs from 1-6pm

The day concludes with the Cosey Club which is regularly brought to the ICA and features the live performances by Factory Floor, Fixmer/McCarthy and Andrew Weatherall from 10pm til 3am.
