Jeffrey Lewis Keeps On Rolling

New album, single and UK tour....

What with his recent ICA lectures on the comic bookWatchmen … his seemingly endless touring schedule…not to mention his illustrated biography of Barack Obama – Jeffrey Lewis is on his way back to tour the UK with his band The Junkyard and a fifth album in hand.

Entitled Em Are I , the album will be released by Rough Trade on April 20th, followed by the single ‘Roll Bus Roll’ (written on the subject of cheap public bus travel, we are told) on May 18th.

You can also view the first episode of his podcast series ‘Jeffrey Lewis And The News’ on The Guardian Online . It features Jeffrey and Laura Marling doing an acoustic Eminem cover.
