The Fall Trudge To Hinterland

New Glasgow festival adds Manchester troupe

The Fall will appear in Glasgow this spring at the first ever Hinterland Festival.

Mark E. Smith’s gaggle, whose next album will apparently arrive through Domino, have been booked to play the first day of the event on Thursday April 30th.

Running on ‘til Friday May 1st, Hinterland will take place at 20 or so venues dotted about the city centre, though no-one will know what bands are playing where until the programme is released on the day.

Among those also appearing are Metronomy, Micachu and Rustie (Thurs) Wild Beasts and Jeffrey Lewis (Fri). More line-up details will be announced at the end of this week.

Two-day ‘early bird’ tickets are on sale at a discounted rate of £35 until March 31st, after which they’ll rise to £42. Single day tickets can be obtained for £23.50 – more details at the Hinterland website, here.
