Paul McCartney & Wings’ ‘One Hand Clapping’ To Get Official Release

The much-bootlegged live studio album has been newly mixed for a June release

A live album recorded at Abbey Road Studios in 1974 by Paul McCartney & Wings is getting its first official release.

Captured while the band filmed a video documentary, and with intentions to release it as a live studio album, One Hand Clapping ultimately only made its way into the public consciousness via a series of unapproved bootlegs. It’s now been newly mixed for a full release, and will be made available digitally, as well as on vinyl and CD. The new release comes with the original artwork designed for the project. Taking in 27 tracks in all, it features live versions of several Wings songs, as well as reworks of various Beatles classics.

Capitol will release One Hand Clapping on June 14, 2024.
